Scoping out the ceremony/reception location

We went out to the ceremony/reception venue, Cafe del Rey, last night around sunset to meet with the wedding coordinator. A very helpful valet doubled as our photographer. We looked at menu items and nibbled on a pizza appetizer with our favorite cheese: burrata!

Wedding date: Jan. 16, 2010!

It's the wedding that's nine years in the making! Kristi and Brian will be married on Jan. 16, 2010 in Marina del Rey, Calif. Incidentally, it is Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend, meaning that many folks will have Monday off.

Wedding weekend:

Friday, Jan. 15:
5 pm: Appetizers and dinner at Kristi and Brian's condo
7:30 pm: Bowling at AMF lanes

Saturday, Jan. 16
12-1 pm: Photos at Burton Chace Park, Marina del Rey'
1 pm: Ceremony, Cafe del Rey
1:30-4:30 pm: Lunch, Cafe del Rey
7 pm: Optional evening activity
